"It was a great pleasure to join the Good Shepherd community for Eucharist this past Sunday.   This was Eucharist as I think it was intended to be.   In a home.  In a neighbourhood.   With folks arriving in a Mercedes, an Escalade, on bicycles and walking.  Once inside, it didn't matter who we were or how we got there.   We were one.   As an active priest for 12 years before getting married 15 years ago, I especially appreciated the sensitivity both of you had towards inclusive language, use of communal song, attention to the children and the invitation to all for communion.   It was also striking that the local Lutheran Church prepared the food for the meal that followed.   I think this is the church Jesus intended.   Thank you for sharing it and all the best as you continue your ministries."
