ReplyDeleteThe Church is not supposed to be "in touch" with the people. The Church is supposed to be "in touch" with the Word of God. As a result, people ought to be worried about being "in touch" with the Church, not the Church "in touch" with the people.
Can you please tell me Bridget Mary: IF the Church is going to ordain women, accept gay marriage, promote condoms, promote abortion, promote birth control, allow divorce and remarriage, and otherwise embrace a Gospel of liberal secularism----WHY BELONG TO IT? What is the POINT of a Church?
