June 3rd Showing of "Pink Smoke Over the Vatican at the Kentucky Theatre in Lexington

We filled the lobby with signs from our movement including our ARCWP banner, BASIC's new Last Supper painting, WOC's "Ordain Women" poster, a poster size photo of our 2001 Rome banner for women priests and my 2001 "Statement For Justice for Women in the Church."
About 40 people viewed the documentary which was introduced by Katy Zatsick. After the viewing Anne Binford introduced me and then I introduced Donna. We answered questions and spoke about the movement.
Comments about the movie as folks bought a copy of it included: "This is history and must be shown." "I'm getting this for my daughter."
People kept telling us how courageous we are. They also spoke of how our movement gives them hope for the Spirit's new life in the church.
