KFD, the Catholic Women's Association of Germany, (representing over half a million women in Germany) held their national meeting recently and the calls for the ordination of women were loud and clear. The women turned down Cardinal Kasper's proposal for a special diaconate for women without ordination. They seem ready to fight and committed to stick to their demands.
