a speech to members of the International Catholic Child Bureau, Pope Francis
made one of his strongest statements yet on clergy sex abuse, calling it "evil,"
saying that he feels compelled to "personally ask for forgiveness" from victims,
and stating that sanctions "must be imposed" on clergy who abuse
children.
