Bridget Mary's Response: If the institutional church would affirm women priests and open the door to married priests, there would no Eucharistic famine in Ireland or anywhere else. In the days of St. Brigit of Kildare, there were women priests and married priests and flourishing Christian communities. If it worked then, it surely would work now in Ireland. The Irish people are ready as  is the rest of the world  Bridget Mary Meehan, ARCWP, www.arcwp.org
