"Jesus Shared an Open Table, So Do We" by Bridget Mary Meehan ARCWP

Jesus loved food and dinner parties and shared frequent meals at an open table where there was room for everyone  including the poor and marginalized, women, tax collectors, sinners, and prostitutes.
Here Jesus shared the abundance, forgiveness, healing and compassion of the Holy One with all. Inclusiveness is the Gospel mandate of Jesus and should be the hallmark of the Roman Catholic Church.

Today, the Roman Catholic Women Priests Movement invites everyone to an open table at the Banquet of Love including divorced and remarried Catholics, LGBTI and others who are excluded or feel like outsiders.
