A Tribute to Joe Adler RIP, Member of MMOJ Community, Sarasota, Fl.

Obituary: https://fredcdames.com/tribute/details/5145/Joseph-Adler/obituary.html

We at MMOJ treasured Joe and Jodie as loving, enthusiastic members of our community over the years.
It was a joy to see them in the winter season when they made Sarasota their home.
They were  enthusiastic supporters of the Association of Roman Catholic Women Priests https//arcwp.org

Joe often cut out articles to share with me about the growth of our movement that he found in articles in the National Catholic Reporter and other media that supported the ordination of women priests in the Roman Catholic Church.
This year, on one occasion, he took delight in introducing us to some of  his family members who accompanied him to one of our 4PM liturgies.
We were so excited to hear the voices of little ones and experience their glee as our members are mostly retirees living here or visiting to escape the cold weather up north.
On another occasion this year, Joe shared a wonderful homily starter on our social justice mission highlighting some practical steps our community could take to advance inclusivity and equality in our Church and reach out to the marginalized and oppressed in our world.
He always wanted to spread the word about our MMOJ community that numbers between 20 in the summer and 50 in snowbird season.
I am also grateful for his generous donations to our  MMOJ Community and to  the Association of Roman Catholic Women Priests.
Joe was proud of us and a happy member of our warm and welcoming faith community.
We have lost a dear brother and loving friend, whom we will never forget.
We will keep Joe and your entire family in our loving thoughts and prayers as you grieve his loss and celebrate his life.
