Ireland- Day 3, Aug.8, 2023: Cobh - dock from where we emigrated from Ireland in 1956

 We did a walking tour of Cobh and Blarney today.

This is the old dock  below from where our family emigrated in 1956. I got in touch with the sadness of many goodbyes standing there for a quiet moment

I walked up steep steps to cathedral and gave thanks for my parent’s decision and all that has meant in our lives and for Aunt Molly who sponsored us.
