I am curious about your thoughts. While I am still investigating your aguments for the ordination of women. Don't we need to be obedient to the Pope? Isn't obedience more important than sacrifice. Now you might say "I am being obedient to Jesus". Yet we believe that he established the Papacy and the whole heirarchy of the Church for that matter. We also know the God speaks through the heirarchy in the Pope, Councils, Catechism, and Liturgy. At what point do you say - I need to wait patiently on the Lord while I am obedient to her servants?
Father Janice says that she adds to the total of priests in the Archdiocese of Cincinnati. But doesn't a priest need to have permission of the local Bishop to celebrate Mass in his diocese?
Again (I need to examine the arguments more indepth), this movement seems to be separate from the unity of the Church. While the claim is to be inclusive, Jesus claims those who are obedient.
At what point does saying - We know better than those other guys -become schism?
I am interested in dialogue.
