October is the month many Americans celebrate LGBT History Month. It is also the month designated to bringing awareness to issues of Domestic Violence.
The Federation of Christian Ministries welcomes and celebrates the gifts of all people, most particularly those in the LGBTQIA Community. We stand in solidarity with all facing discrimination when honoring their gender / true identity.
We stand against all forms of domestic violence-physical, psychological or political-that would discriminate or injure a person in any way that would limit their full participation in life and in the fabric of our American democracy. Below some resources for support.
