I was ordained a priest on July 31, 2006 in a historic ceremony on the Three Rivers in Pittsburgh. There were 8 women priests and 4 women deacons who were ordained on a unforgettable occasion that rocked the Roman Catholic hierarchy but, created hope for inclusive communities where the excluded would be welcome.
This is our 17th anniversary.
The international Roman Catholic Women Priests Movement has grown over the past 17 years in the U.S and around the world to close to 300. Our mission has included creating a “wider tent “ that reflects God’s all-embracing love for everyone.
