Because women who are becoming priests and bishops in the Anglican Church have to really shine in order to prove they can function well in a formerly all male territory, the quality of those being selected for high positions is superior. It is inevitable that one of these shining examples will rise to be the Archbishop of Canterbury. With the split off schismatics forming alternative churches or leaving altogether and becoming Catholics, there will be very little opposition left.

I'd like to be a fly on the wall when the first woman Archbishop of Canterbury meets with Pope Benedict for the first time if he lives that long. Won't it be interesting when all the heads of Protestant denominations are women? I guess that leaves the Orthodox Metropolitans and Catholic Bishops to huddle together around their candle. Even the Orthodox Church ordains women deacons.
