ORDINATION OF SHELLEY GILCHRIST AS DEACON - PLEASE HAVE HER IN PRAYER

Dear Faith Family,
We are so excited that our friend and faith group member, Shelley Gilchrist, is to be ordained as a deacon at our home August 28. Please lift her in prayer in a special way this month. She will be a wonderful asset to inclusive ministry in this area. So many are hurt by their churches and she will be able to help them heal. She has a compassionate heart ready to be in loving ministry.
We had our second BBB Bible Study and we all had a wonderful time seeing how the word of God can be expressed through different translations. Interesting how a different word gives greater clarity for a particular person. We all seek to follow our God, and we hope this approach will make it a little easier for us to discern wisdom in following our loving Creator. We do not have to be Hebrew and Greek scholars to get more out of our bible reading and prayer. We just need to start reading with eyes of faith and expectation.
I continue to be improving with my rehab work for my shoulder. Thank you for your continued prayers.
We hope you will spend some quality time with our loving God. Know we pray for you and your heart's desire. Join us for worship if you can. If you cannot, please keep our ministries in your prayer. We strive to lift up the love of God. Help us to discern the best way we can do that.
Much love and peace to each of you and your families.
Lovingly,
Wanda
