"Birth Control and Bloviators- What Just Happened?" by Angela Bonavoglia
"That is why the targets of the church’s sexual repression—right here, right now—are not just Catholic women, but all American women. If that feels like mission creep, it is. If that scares you, it should."
Angela makes argument for women priests in article above as part of structural change necessary for true equality of women in the Catholic Church. I agree. Bridget Mary Meehan,

Judging by the statistics, "the Beltway media narrative" is reflective of electoral hype rather than of the public's awareness of the issues at stake. The fact that the pundits are male changes little: according to the recent Public Policy Polling survey, "a solid 56 percent majority of voters support the decision to require health plans to cover prescription birth control with no additional out-of-pocket fees," and "a similarly strong majority (57 percent) of voters think that women employed by Catholic hospitals and universities should have the same rights to contraceptive coverage as other women."

Neither pundits nor bishops are likely to sway this majority before November 6.
