Good News About Homeless Woman with Disabilities, Maura Wood, aka "Cookie" in Sarasota, Florida
Today, I had a conversation with Maura Wood, also known as "Cookie" near McDonald's in Sarasota. The good news is that she has temporary shelter and plans to move in a shared rental with some friends in July. And Sarasota Hospital gave her a new wheel chair! The challenge is she still has seizures and was treated last week in Sarasota Hospital, and, now has the appropriate medicine.
