May We Walk in Infinite Love, Bridget Mary Meehan ARCWP

Come behold the works of the Beloved
how love does reign even in
humanity's desolation.
For the Beloved yearns for wars to cease,
shining light into fearful hearts; loving
even those who oppress the weak,
refining hearts of steel.

Be still and know that I am Love.
Awaken! Befriend justice and mercy;
Do you not know you bear my Love?
Who among you will respond?
O Blessed One, you know all hearts,
You are ever with us.
May Love ever guide our lives!
(Psalms for Praying by Nan C. Merrill)

Sacred Practice:
Inhale and exhale slowly for sever minutes. One way
do this is to count to four as you inhale, hold your breath for the count of four, and count to four as you exhale...

Open yourself to depths of Infinite Love dwelling within you. Allow boundless love to permeate your entire being... Simply be in the presence of Love. No words are necessary...

Be still and immerse yourself in Divine Presence...

Be aware of any feelings, thoughts, sensations, images that emerge as you reflect on Infinite Love dwelling within you...

Be aware of anyone in your life with whom you want to experience spiritual communion...

Imagine Infinite Love dwelling within and surrounding this person(s)...

Place you hand on your heart and imagine both of you in the Divine Embrace...

If you want- enter into a conversation with this person (these people).

Be attentive to any feelings, thoughts, sensations that emerge as you reflect on your relationship(s)...

Be aware of anything you feel guided to do to grow in loving kindness with this person(s)...

Record, if you wish, any image from this encounter in your journal.
