Thanksgiving Day Blessings from Bridget Mary Meehan

On this Thanksgiving Day I give thanks for all my blessings, for family, friends, and community.
I give thanks for your ongoing support of our Women Priests movement for justice and for equality in our church and our world.
I give thanks for all our women deacons, priests and bishops who are following God's call to serve the people of God in enthusiastic Christ-centered communities of equals. We are dismantling the patriarchial, clerical model, one community at a time. The renewal of our beloved church is blossoming in these grassroots communities.
Let us give thanks and rejoice for God is doing great things for us.
At the end of the day, it is not about us, it is about justice for the marginalized especially women in the church and world, and ultimately about justice for all. The movement for justice and equality is the voice of God in our time.
