This morning I met Marion and Mark outside Publix. They were friends with the the homeless who gathered there . Over the years they have included me in their caring circle.
Several months ago, Marion was run over by a car, spent 5 days in intensive care with a brain hemorrhage and a broken arm and over 5 weeks in rehabilitation. She is a walking miracle.
Mark has kidney disease and is undergoing dialysis.
They both share a special compassion for the less fortunate and keep me posted about the struggles of their homeless friends.
They are a blessing in my life
