"Steve Bannon and the Conservative Cafeteria Catholics" by Patricia Miller

My comment: While all Catholics must follow their consciences, this church teaching is grounded in Jesus' teaching in the Gospels.  What is the most loving thing to do in this situation? We will be judged, according to Matthew 25 on how we care for the  sick and poor  and welcome the strangers. Proposed legislation for example, that would gut health care for the poor and punish children who immigrated to the U.S. with their parents illegally are morally wrong and against Catholic values. So are policies that cut contraceptive coverage for low-income women. Bridget Mary Meehan, ARWP, www.arcwp.org
