I don't deny, Bridget Mary that something was celebrated. What I can assure you, however, Bridget Mary, is that whatever was celebrated, it wasn't Mass.

Glad you were not around for the Women to deliver the message that Jesus had risen from the tomb - you probably would have questioned that too !
Yes, a Mass was celebrated ..by Women !
As the Vatican tries to hold on to the human made laws that were created after the 1st fall of Rome, when the Pope took over, all of these power rules were created to keep power in the hands of men, but I am sure you already know that since you have done your history lessons. Just remember the distorted opinions of power and men !
Women are being ordained all over the country and Catholics are accepting them. Sure Rome can throw PR bashes for Year of the Priest ..but it did not get them anywhere.
