Loving God, Divine Healer,
We lift up our brother, Pope Leo, into your tender, healing embrace.
Surround him with your gentle presence. Renew his strength after surgery, heal his lung, and fill his heart with your deep and abiding peace.
May he feel the love and prayers of people throughout the world holding him close during this time.
Bless those who care for him with wisdom, compassion, and healing hands.
Holy Spirit, breathe your life-giving energy into his body and soul. May this time of healing also be a time of grace, drawing him ever closer in your boundless love.
And as we pray for Pope Leo, we remember all who are suffering from illness, especially those who feel forgotten, alone, or without anyone to pray for them. Wrap each one in your loving arms.
May Pope Leo's recovery be a blessing for him and for the whole Church. May he continue to grow in compassion, courage, and openness to the Spirit, who calls us to be a Church where everyone is loved, welcomed, and valued.
Holy One, hold Pope Leo and all who suffer in the healing embrace of your infinite love.
Amen.
