Call to Action Issues Action Alert on Petition in Support of the Sisters

In the week since the Vatican published its harmful "assessment" against the Leadership Conference of Women Religious (LCWR), Catholics across the country are speaking out like never before!
The pressure on the Vatican is building. Word is spreading from the New York Times to the BBC and nearly 25,000 people have signed the petition in support of the sisters!
Can we push it to 30,000? It's up to you.
Forward this email with the petition and invite your friends to sign it before it is delivered!
Also, save the date of Tuesdays in May! The sisters have announced they are meeting the last week of May after Pentecost to pray and discern their response to the Vatican. Until then, Catholics across the country will be gathering every Tuesday night, starting May 8th, in front of cathedrals and other sites to pray and witness in support of the sisters. More details to follow!
The sisters have supported us, it is time for us to support them!
With thanks,

Jim FitzGerald, Executive Director

To suggest that women should be ordained priests denies the will of God, the very God who selected 12 men to be His Apostles.
