Mary and Elizabeth - Models of Mutual Affection and Support in Challenging Times

“ This is the sixth month for her who was called barren; for nothing will be impossible for God.” (Luke 1:36-37)

In the Gospel of Luke,  Mary and Elizabeth - both pregnant and of different generations- share their joys and hopes as they prepare for the birth of their babies in a time of great turmoil and uncertainty.

They loving affection is obvious. Their example inspires us to accompany and support each other our journey to birth God in a tumultuous world.

Like Mary and Elizabeth, we trust that nothing is impossible for God when we work together to make our Earth home a better place for everyone.
