We live in a complex named Albemarle Plantation; a group of us have been unsuccessful in renaming our neighborhood. Reading The False White Gospel with Upper Room affirmed me in offering a gathering for prayer & communion among a diverse group.
Fourteen of us were here September 17th; we explored the Transfiguration in the Bible and related it to civil rights workers today & in the past who are transfiguring our society.
We received Communion together.
The next Gathering is November 12th.
It's important to know that though we live at geographic distances, you & I ~ we are very much connected and bonded in love and action through an inclusive church.
