I’m delighted to introduce my new book, The Impossible Circle: Encounters with Holy Women in the Bible.
In these pages, I invite you to meet courageous, complicated, faith-filled women whose stories still speak powerfully to us today—Sarah, Hagar, Miriam, Ruth, Naomi, Mary, Mother of Jesus, Mary Magdalene, Martha, Mary of Bethany, the Samaritan woman, Phoebe, Junia, Prisca, Lydia, and Thecla.
These women laughed, struggled, questioned, led, preached, healed, resisted injustice, and trusted Divine Wisdom in impossible situations. Their stories remind us that God has always worked through women—and still does.
Each chapter combines biblical reflection, contemporary insight, prayer, and blessing, inviting readers to encounter these women not as distant figures from the past, but as companions for our own spiritual journeys.
The Impossible Circle is for anyone who longs for a faith that is inclusive, liberating, hopeful, and alive.
Come into the circle.
Listen to their voices.
Discover their courage.
