Reflect on power of her lived experience and your own.
Jesus experienced Mary of Magdala as a "tower,"  a fortress of faith.
"the pulpit for the resurrection."
Fear of spiritual power from the subjective experience of women is a reality from the beginning days of Christianity as exhibited in Mary's story and the stories of women in our faith tradition.
Time for patriarchal structures to influence our faith is gone.
We all have to claim our own experience as the good news
Some aspect of Good News can only come through each of us.
Jesus did not authorize any institution ever to be the sole conveyer of his Way.
We let resurrection flow into the world when we share our stories with the world.
This is what we celebrate today on the feast of St Mary of Magdala
